Phishing scams are messages that try to trick you into providing sensitive information. These often appear to come from a bank or another trusted source, such as a friend or colleague, and they'll usually want you to provide sensitive information. Examples of sensitive information could be a password, verify a birth date, or confirm a credit card number. Phishing messages may look real enough at first glance, but it’s surprisingly easy for scammers to create convincing details.

How to Report a Phishing Email (Outlook Desktop Client)
NCC has partnered with KnowBe4, a premier vendor in security awareness and training solutions to add a Phish Alert button to our email system. You will notice an icon in your Outlook toolbar that looks like an envelope with a fishhook.
If you receive a suspicious email and believe it to be a phishing attempt, click this button. You will be asked, “Are you sure you want to report this as a phishing email.” Click “YES, Report this email,” and we will take care of the rest.
KnowBe4’s Phish Alert button gives you a safe way to forward email threats to the security team for analysis and deletes the email from your inbox to prevent future exposure. If the email is determined to be legitimate, it will be restored to your email box.
How to Report a Phishing Email (Browser Interface)
If you are accessing your email through a browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, etc.), you can report a suspicious email by choosing the option "Report Phishing" from the Report dropdown list in the toolbar:
