Summary
This article details the simple process to import bookmarks, history, and other browser data from Google Chrome into Microsoft Edge.
Body
In Microsoft Edge, you can import almost all of your data from Google Chrome and use it in Microsoft Edge to minimize the setup required for switching over and to continue working in ways that are familiar to you with the other browsers. The data being imported will be merged with any existing Microsoft Edge data except saved passwords; any previously imported passwords for the same sites will be overwritten.
Note: Before you begin you must close all open Chrome tabs and windows.
1. In Microsoft Edge select the “three dots” (ellipsis) menu in the upper right and select Settings
2. From the middle of the screen select Import browser data.
3. From the middle of the screen select Import next to “Import data from Google Chrome.”
4. Under Choose what to import, select the specific browser data you want imported from the list and select Import.
