Managing and Delegating Print Jobs on your Computer
You can easily manage Pharos Secure print jobs on your Computer - including viewing pending jobs, deleting pending jobs, or assigning a delegate for a job.
View and Manage Print Jobs
1. Click the "Pharos Print" icon in your system tray.

2. You may now view your pending documents.
Hint: If you no longer need to print a document; you can click the document and then click the "Delete" button.

Delegate a Print Job
You can use the Pharos Print application to Delegate a Print Job; this allows another user to release a print job on your behalf.
1. Start by printing your document to the Pharos Secure Printer
2. Click the Pharos Print application in your system tray.
Click the "Pharos Print" icon in your system tray.

3. Select the document you want to delegate; and then click the "Delegate" button.

4. Enter the email address of the individual you want to delegate the document to and click "Add."

5. The email address you added will appear. Confirm it is correct and click "Save."
Hint: You can remove delegation by highlighting the email address and clicking the "X" next to the address.

6. The print job will now show the delegation icon. The designee will see the document in their Pharos Secure Print Queue.
Hint: You can remove delegation at any time by doing the following:
- Select the document
- Click the "Delegate" button
- Click the designee email address
- Click the "X" next to the address
Important: Once a document has been released it will be removed from the queue. You can not remove a designee from a document if they have already printed it.

Environment
This article applies to the Pharos Secure Print environment at Nassau Community College.
Cause
Nassau Community College has implemented the Pharos Secure Print Environment in accordance with SUNY Policy 6902 - System-wide Print Resource Use
