ATTENDANCE CONFIRMATION INSTRUCTIONS 

Attendance definition: 

*Attendance is defined as academic engagement, which can vary depending on whether your class meets face to face, remote or online. Please use the definition below to determine the correct response for each student: 

Academically related activities (academic engagement) may include: 

  • physically attending a class where there is an opportunity for direct interaction between the instructor and students; 
  • virtually attending a class where there is an opportunity for direct interaction between the instructor and students (e.g., Zoom); 
  • submitting an academic assignment; 
  • taking an exam, an interactive tutorial or computer-assisted instruction; 
  • attending a study group that is assigned by the institution; 
  • participating in an online discussion about academic matters; 
  • initiating contact with a faculty member to ask a question about the academic subject studied in the course. 

To complete attendance confirmation, login to the MyNCC Portal, select the MyBanner-SIS icon, then follow the instructions for the semester that have been sent out by the Registrar's office (refer to your email). For questions about attendance confirmation, please contact the Registrar's office.
