Printing an Envelope on a Pharos Secure Printer (HP and Toshiba)
1. In Microsoft Word, open the Mailings tab and choose Envelope.

2. Enter the recipient in the Delivery Address field, then click Options.

3. On the Printing Options tab set these exactly:
- Envelope image rotated and centered
- Face Down
- Clockwise Rotation
- Feed From: Manual Feed

Before continuing make sure that the Pharos Secure Printer is listed. If not, review the steps to set the Pharos Secure Printer as your default Printer.
Click OK when finished.
If these settings are not applied correctly, you risk a paper jam.
4. In the Envelopes and Labels dialog, click Print.
This button does not give you the option to select a printer, it uses the system default, which is why you must ensure the Pharos Secure Printer is your default printer for this process to work. See instructions above.

For HP Devices:
5. At an HP-model Pharos Secure Printer, log in and open the Manual Feed tray on the right side. An icon on the tray shows how the envelope should be placed.

6. Load the envelopes as indicated and press Print All on the touchscreen to release the job.

If the printer reports the manual feed tray is empty, shift the envelope slightly so the sensor can detect it.
For Toshiba Devices:
Note: Envelope printing is not recommended on Toshiba printers.
5. Sign in at the Toshiba 6525AC Pharos Secure Printer and open the manual feed tray on the right. Adjust the paper guides to match your envelope width.
A small diagram on the tray shows the required envelope orientation.

6. Place the envelopes in the manual feed tray following the diagram, then tap Print All on the touchscreen to release the job.

7. An exclamation mark will appear. The first time you print envelopes you must modify settings in Job Status to allow envelope printing.

7. To access Job Status, tap More Device Functions, then select Job Status (or the yellow exclamation icon) in the upper-right corner.

8. In Job Status, click Supply and change the Type setting to Envelope.

9. Press the green start button on the panel to the right of the touch screen.
If the printer reports the tray is empty, shift the envelope slightly so the sensor detects it.
