Add An Alternate Method for O365 MFA

Log into your O365 email via a web browser.  If you are unable to do so, please open a support ticket at MyIT Support & Services.

Once logged in, click the circle in the top right-hand corner (most likely your initials reversed or an icon you’ve uploaded).

Click View account

Click Security info

Click + Add sign in method

Click the down arrow and select your additional methods.  The choices will vary depending on what you’ve already set up.  Follow the prompts to add the additional method.

To change the Default sign-in method click “Change” at the end of the Default sign-in method line, click the down arrow to explore your options.

The next time you’re prompted to MFA you will be given a choice of which you want to use for that session.  The default method will be at the top of the list.
