Email Location Exception

Service Description

For security reasons, attempts to access faculty and staff email accounts from outside the United States, are blocked. All employees who need to access any Microsoft Office 365 web applications and services, including email, from outside the United States, must complete the Email Location Exception Request Form.

  • To ensure seamless email access while traveling internationally, be sure to submit this form prior to departure. 
  • We recommend you set up the Microsoft Authenticator prior to travel. Instructions can be downloaded from the MyIT Support and Services Knowledgebase
