The Software Support service provides a centralized point of contact for all software-related assistance and requests at Nassau Community College. This service covers two key areas:
Software Support:
- Offers troubleshooting and problem-solving for software installed on college-owned devices
- Provides guidance and support to ensure optimal software performance and functionality
Software Requests:
- Allows employees to request the installation of new software on college-owned devices
- All software requests are subject to department and ITS approval, and may incur licensing fees

Target Completion Date
Response and resolution times vary based on the complexity of the issue.
Incidents (broken or not working right) - Initial response typically within 3 business days.
Service Requests (requests for something new) - Resolution within 5-10 business days
The request will not be processed until all approvals are obtained.
